Two Michael Waltrip Racing drivers will be in next year's Shootout at Daytona. Michael Waltrip's #55 Napa Auto Parts Camry finished 38th in the Sprint Cup series season finale, with enough points to beat out Dave Blaney's #22 in the owners standings. David Reutimann's #44 UPS machine spent most of the race in the top ten but finished 20th due to a late race pit; other fuel strategies prevailed today. Marcos Ambrose's #47 Little Debbies Toyota fell out of the top 35 due to midrace wreck. He finished 42nd.
Michael Waltrip Racing picked up two top ten finishes in the Ford 300, today's Nationwide Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Josh Wise finished 12th in the #00 Napa Camry; David Reutimann came home 13th in the #99 Aaron's Dream Machine.
