Subject: was I wrong to believe in your melody?

Mood: TI' id (Bostonian for 'tired')
Music: Blessid Union of Souls' "Light In Your Eyes"

I'm tired, but I guess that's what you should expect from me. Is it ever really any different?

I have this major paper due for professional integrative seminar class. I've had all semester to do it, and it's due Monday. It's the only work required for this class, so it's supposed to be good. It's a pass/fail course, though, so how difficult can it really be? I'm belabouring it anyway. I just got started on this thing yesterday. I have a decent excuse for procrastinating. Want to hear it? No. I'm three pages into it. Actually, I think it's supposed to just be a draft of the thing I'm supposed to pass in two days from now. So this is probably less of a deal than I'm making it out to be anyway.

I do a lot of online research that leads me back to books and junk. That way, I save myself trips to the library and from mulling through annoying online databases. I can't stand it when I'm looking for a journal article, and go all over the library to find it, only to learn that it has nothing to do with what I need.

I also hate not being able to hide. If I'm out in public, and it's not for something fun or fairly purposeful, I'd rather not be there.

Today, I got an Aaron's Dream Machine pit cap. Ma bought it for me online. I knew she'd been looking for one, but hadn't known she ordered it. I have it on now. Mikey was on The Best Damn Sports Show tonight; he did a remote interview from the Atlanta Motor Speedway. It's funny - in the middle of the interview, Tom Arnold got on there and asked Mikey something like are parts from Napa any good. Everybody's smirking when Mikey goes into a mini-ad for Napa, then puts in a plug for Coke, mentioning the soda while holding up the bottle in his hand. Right before the interview ended, Mikey reminded everybody that Sunday's race was sponsored by Napa. The interview ended right after that and, after the line to Atlanta was cut, Tom Arnold was still smiling, and said something like, "I really like Michael." Everybody loves Mikey!

I tried to tape the interview, but the infernal cables for the VCR and TV are all screwed up.

Since I am still awake, I should work some more on my lovely paper. Ehhhhh...
