Summary: Um... Wolverine's return. This takes place a few years after the movie. Oh, and Libby Edwards, PLEASE don't shoot me!
Note: I SWEAR, I wrote this in 2000, so I wasn't copying the person who just posted "She Walks In Beauty", though I feel like crap for posting this now anyway. Oh well, her 'fic is more developped. This is just a short... whatever. Enjoy!

Dust trailed a fiery object as it streaked through the night, emitting an ear piercing buzz. It rounded a corner and squeeled to a stop before a school house. Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
The buzz slowed and softened, until it ceased altogether. And the dust began to settle. It swirled around the object, a shadowy figure on an attractive red motorcycle. The figure was breathing heavily as he stared at the building. His left leg swung to the other side of the motorcycle, and the figure dismounted.
He climbed up to the front steps two at a time and strode down the hallway.
Click! Light flooded the hallway. The figure swired around.
"You're back!" a slender young girl moved her hand from the light switch and ran it through the white streak in her brown hair. Rubbing her eyes, she asked, "Did you settle your business up North?"
He lowered his head. "Some of it," he replied. He looked into the girl's eyes and said, "It's good to see you again, Rogue."
"Good to see you too." She fingered the dog tag that was around her neck. Holding it up, she said, "I suppose you want this back now."
Holding up a hand, he replied, "Oh, that can wait 'til tomorrow. You should go back to bed."
Rogue nodded and began pacing toward her room. Just as she got to the door, she turned around and said, "I've missed you, Logan."
Wolverine had returned to the X-Men.
