Photos from Dale Earnhardt, Incorporated
(12 March 2004):
Dale Earnhardt, Inc. is located on what is now Route 3. The town of Mooresville, North Carolina, renamed the highway in honour of the late Dale Earnhardt, whose name is synonymous with the #3 in the world of racing.
I took a picture of the Michael Waltrip die-casts I keep on my dashboard. This really has nothing to do with DEI, except I took this photo on the way there. My sister pointed out that I was apparently going 40 MPH while shooting the picture. Oops. I seriously don't remember doing that!
The exteriour of DEI: On either side of the United States flag is one with the DEI symbol (left) and one for the state of North Carolina (right).

I thought it was cool that I used the toilet at DEI, so I took a picture. Just after the shot, I realised there was somebody else in the ladies' room who probably saw the flash of light under the stall door, and could have heard my camera too. I started cracking up, and had to get out of there fast!
Here I'm sitting somewhere more appropriate for the race shop - in Jeff Green's driver seat. I'm guessing they have his on display, because he's probably the girthiest driver to have ever raced for DEI.
I'm holding up a #15. MIKEY POWER!!!
Anne got a little scary in that driver's seat!
Here she's being a little more normal, standing in front of Dale Earnhardt Jr's car.
These are some of the fire suits that DEI has on display.

Mikey's 2004 Daytona 500 car: It barrel-rolled and landed upside-down after Johnny Sauter caused a twelve-car accident.
You can see where safety workers were cutting the roll cage.
Mikey's 2003 Daytona 500 car: This is the one he was in when he picked up a second victory in the event!
