Subject: Until we make up
Mood: flighty Music: John Frusciante's online album From The Sounds Inside
I'm going to South Carolina tomorrow. Well, technically, in two and a half hours. I'm supposed to be sleeping, but I'm an idiot. First, I was moderating my boards on NASCAR.com. Now I'm wanting to add some cool links to my website.
I'm getting a little addicted to my new site. Sometimes I just go there to look at it. Probably vein. Ah. Whatever.
In John Frusciante's Toronto interview, on the CD I burned yesterday that includes 2/3 of his online album, he talks about the internet. He likes how he's able to put his music there. He says that, once one uses art for personal gain, it starts to suck. It's better to share your art with others, because the spirits give you what they do for a reason, and you're supposed to share those feelings and vibrations with as many people as you can. It's all about not becoming possessive of what you do, realising it's not yours but anothers. He never ceases to amaze me - I am always learning from him.
Mikey got 9th today, AWESOME for a road course! Poor Kenny hit the wall hard, toward the end of the race. Good thing it was a foam wall. That took most of the impact. The radio didn't tell me if he was okay, but I heard after that he was. He was also hilarious in the interview coming out of the infield care centre. I was so worried about Kenny though, before I heard this news. I miss FOX's race coverage, especially DW and Jeff Hammond.
