Subject: Michael Waltrip's Birthday

Mood: drained
Music: matchbox twenty's "You Won't Be Mine"

It's Michael Waltrip's birthday today. For those of you who don't know who he is, SHAME ON YOU! Just kidding! He's my favourite NASCAR driver. He's 39 today. I paid $8 to wish him a happy birthday in the magazine Winston Cup Scene. Maybe, by some odd chance, he'll actually see it in there. But, if he does, I mean think about it! He's gonna point out my name specifically and go, "Oh cool! She's my fan!"

Not only am I Kellycentristic, but I'm dramatic. Scary combination.

I had a very exhausting day, though I don't think I did a heck of a lot. I called a bunch of places about interning and junk. Went to class. Went to gospel meeting. Stayed REALLY late talking to a woman from church. STILL not getting to all the work I need to get done, and I am SOOOOO running out of time! AHHH!

I wrote to Anne today. My roommate in the military, for anybody who wouldn't know. She sent me a U.S. Army shirt that's really cool. I had been wearing a matchbox twenty shirt (seemed like a mb20 kind of day this morning), but I changed out of it and into this. Yeah, I'm still wearing it.

If music is any indication of my mood, I started out the day with matchbox twenty's Mad Season, went on to John Frusciante's Niandra La Des And Usually Just A T-shirt, and ended my day with Limp Bizkit's Significant Other. Yesterday, I listened to a slew of music. My friends took over the music in my car, and they played stuff they like, which was pretty cool. I got a little variety. I put in a few things of my own, like John Frusciante, Pink Floyd, On A Safer Shore, and Dave Navarro. We did a LOT of driving yesterday! We went all the way to Blackstone to visit a congregation down there. I really liked being there, and I hope we end up back there again soon.

As far as the music, Justin put in a bunch of stuff I like already; some of it was new but similiar in style. Josh, on the other hand, put in stuff that's very different than what I usually hear. He likes Engine Down and Apple Seed Cast especially. ASC is like Pink Floyd, in ways. I liked both bands, especially Apple Seed Cast.

Guess I don't have a ton to say. My brain feels overloaded, and I think I should try to do something at least somewhat productive tonight. Though I'll end up reading fanfic first. But you knew that already.

I posted the first chapter of "Macysitting" tonight on fanfiction.net. Bout freakin time!
