David 15th in California Busch Series Qualifying by Kellyanne Lynch

David Reutimann qualified 15th in his #99 Aaron's Dream Machine for the Stater Brothers 300, today's Busch Series race at California speedway. His Michael Waltrip Racing Camry ranked 10th in both practice sessions.
In the first session, David ran thirteen laps. He was fastest on his tenth, running a 40.261-second lap at 178.833 MPH He was 0.579 seconds behind fastest lap-turner Kevin Harvick.
David's fastest lap was the first of fifteen in the second practice. He was 0.510 seconds behind pace setter Matt Kenseth with a 40.454-second lap at 177.980 MPH.
The Aaron's Dream Machine was the 41st and last car on the track in qualifying. David ran a 40.570-second lap at 177.471 MPH and was 0.661 seconds behind Dave Blaney's pole-winning speed. Blaney is the first driver to qualify first for a Busch race in a Toyota.
