/noticias.info/ Both Michael Waltrip and David Reutimann own one of the most coveted trophies in NASCAR - a Gibson Les Paul electric guitar designed by Sam Bass.
Waltrip won his guitar trophy behind the wheel of the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine during the NASCAR Busch Series event at Nashville Superspeedway in April 2004.
Driving for Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, Reutimann captured his first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory in his No. 17 Toyota during the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway in August 2005.
"I started doing this in 2002," said Sam Bass. "The guitar is built custom in the Gibson shop and it takes about six to eight weeks to complete. It's a full blown Gibson Les Paul guitar. Any top musician could take it on tour. It costs around $7,500 minus the artwork of course."
