Michael Waltrip participated in two practice session today in preparation for the Telcel-Motorola 200, this weekend's Busch Series race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez road course in Mexico City. His #99 Aaron's Dream Machine turned its fastest lap in 91.560 seconds at 99.004 MPH, 2.036 seconds behind pace-setter JJ Yeley. He ranked 22nd. In second practice, Mikey was 31st. He turned a 90.398-second lap at 100.277 MPH, which was 2.307 seconds behind session leader Jon Wood.
Forty-six drivers will attempt to qualify tomorrow for this weekend's sole NASCAR race. Mikey will be the 12th driver to take to the track.
