Michael Waltrip will start 42nd in the Hershey's Kissable 300, Saturday's Busch Series race at Daytona International Speedway. After turning a 50.477-second lap at 178.299 MPH, his #99 Aaron's Dodge ranked 48th of 49 drivers. He was 1.322 seconds behind pole-winner JJ Yeley. Using 2005 owners points enabled him to squeak into the field.
Mikey was 28th on the speed charts yesterday in Busch Series practice. He turned his best lap in 48.426 seconds at 185.851 MPH, and was 0.922 seconds behind pace-setter Paul Menard.
