David Reutimann will take the controls of the Supercuts Dodge in the Hershey's Kissables 300 at Daytona. He regularly drives for Darrell Waltrip's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team. This year, Michael Waltrip Racing has formed an alliance with FitzBradshaw in the Busch Series. Reutimann is slated to drive several Busch races for Michael Waltrip Racing later in the season.
In two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts on the 2.5-mile tri-oval, Reutimann has finished 9th and 12th .
"I'm happy to be able to fulfill a role that will ultimately benefit Joel," said Reutimann. "FitzBradshaw's equipment is solid and they have put together a strong team. I am looking forward to a good finish for them and Supercuts."
Reutimann has previously worked with Crew Chief Butch Hylton, which will make for a smooth transition.
"We feel that David was the right choice," said Fitz, "he will help us set the stage for Joel and hopefully jumpstart the team's momentum for 2006."
